Some of the services are provided by organisations that are ‘household names’ like Meals on Wheels, Domiciliary Care SA and Royal District Nursing Service. Local councils and community health services in country areas are also providers of home support services as well as a number of not-for-profit organisations covering a limited region or the entire metropolitan area.
Service providers may assess you to see if you meet their eligibility criteria. There may be a waiting list for some services.
